GroceryPulse.ca ("we", "our", "the site") is a free grocery price comparison tool for Canadian consumers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. There are no user accounts, no login, and no forms that collect your name, email, or other personal data (unless you voluntarily contact us).

Analytics Data

Price Data

All grocery price data displayed on this site is collected from publicly accessible retailer websites. We are not affiliated with any retailer. Prices shown are public information available to any consumer.

Commercial API Customers

If you subscribe to a commercial GroceryPulse tier (Research, Standard, Professional, Enterprise) we collect and retain the following to fulfil the service contract:

• Account data — billing contact name, organisation, email address, and (where applicable) billing address.
• API access tokens — Bearer tokens issued for authenticating requests against api.grocerypulse.ca. Tokens are revocable at any time via written request.
• Usage logs — request timestamps, endpoint paths, and response status codes, retained for 90 days for rate-limit enforcement and abuse detection. We do not log request bodies or response payloads.

Commercial-tier data is held under PIPEDA on infrastructure in Canada and the EU. Customers may request export or deletion of their account data at any time by writing to privacy@grocerypulse.ca.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and provincial privacy legislation, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you (we hold none)
• Opt out of analytics tracking by declining cookies
• Request deletion of any data associated with you
